SINGAPORE & SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nov. 22, 2004–In a move to improve Valuair’s seat inventory accessibility to travel agents, the airline today announced its successful cutover to SabreSonic’s reservation suite.
At a simple inauguration ceremony, Valuair’s Chairman, Lim Chin Beng emphasized the need to continue to develop and enhance Valuair’s relationship with the travel trade. “Our cutover to SabreSonic is a significant development as this will help the travel trade to not only have greater accessibility to our fares but also enhance our capabilities for e-ticketing, Internet booking and expanded GDS connectivity.”
Valuair, which recently announced the commencement of daily flights to Perth, is also planning to launch a second daily service to Hong Kong on December 1st.

With Valuair’s new reservation system, one of the biggest beneficiaries are set to be travel agents who will now find it easier to package Valuair’s airfare with accommodation and tours. In the future, Valuair will also be able to extend its service offering to offer code-sharing and interlining capabilities. Passengers also will benefit from the enhanced customer care features this suite provides.
