TRIP Linhas Aéreas selects SabreSonic CSS reservations system, Sabre operations solutions

Investment is part of airline’s growth strategy

SAO PAOLO, Brazil, Sept. 23, 2010 – TRIP Linhas Aéreas, the largest regional carrier in Brazil, today announced it has selected SabreSonic Customer Sales and Service (CSS) solution, the industry’s most powerful revenue-generating and customer-focused reservations system, to help the airline continue its aggressive expansion plans. The airline plans to leverage Sabre’s advanced technology platform to cultivate codesharing opportunities to reach new markets and customers

TRIP Linhas Aéreas also chose several solutions from the Sabre AirCentre Enterprise Operations and Sabre AirVision marketing and planning portfolios to help them improve efficiencies and cut costs.

“It is important for TRIP Linhas Aéreas to invest in new systems as a way to increase productivity and to support our growth. In addition, this move will help end consumers as the solutions will help speed up and improve the services provided by the company as a whole,” said Evaristo Mascarenhas, marketing and sales director at TRIP Linhas Aéreas.

TRIP Linhas Aéreas has also selected several operational and marketing and planning solutions from Sabre, among them, Flight Explorer, Sabre Flight Plan Manager, Sabre Profit Manager and Sabre Schedule Manager.

“The adoption of Sabre’s solutions is part of the recurrent growth demands at TRIP, which needs a more advanced technology platform to serve its markets in an even more efficient manner. With this, we will also be able to increase client loyalty, with personalized travel experiences – and codeshare opportunities to reach new markets and clients,” explains Mascarenhas.

Sabre’s sophisticated reservations system will also enhance the airline’s revenue through sales of new products. SabreSonic CSS will also help Trip Linhas Aereas build customer loyalty by creating custom travel experiences for passengers.

“TRIP Linhas Aéreas is a dynamic, emerging carrier in a region that is one of the fastest growing in travel.
