Ability to Purchase Attraction Passes, Ski Lift Tickets and Airport Ground
Transfers Nationwide Along With Flight + Hotel Now Available
SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ – Whether it’s a visit with Mickey
Mouse at the Disneyland(R) Resort in California, smooth passage up the
mountains of Breckenridge and Big Sky or ensuring a hassle-free ride from the
airport to the hotel, new additions to Travelocity TotalTrip(SM) make booking
dream vacations online easier and more convenient than ever before.
Travelocity(R) shoppers can now simultaneously reserve attractions tickets,
ski lift tickets and airport transfers along with great flight + hotel options
in one itinerary with TotalTrip.
The reach of these new services extends to more than 70 destinations,
including Mexico and the Caribbean.
In addition to other hot attractions like Busch Gardens in Tampa and
Williamsburg, Va., SeaWorld in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego, and
Universal Studios in Los Angeles and Universal Orlando Resort in Florida,
Travelocity TotalTrip shoppers can now also round out their ski vacations in
one easy step with lift tickets to the hottest resorts in California,
Colorado, Montana, Utah, Wyoming and Canada.
Plus, TotalTrip will also now be able to get travelers from the airport to
the hotel by giving them the option of reserving ground transfers during the
booking process including SuperShuttle in 17 cities nationwide, Aloha VIP
Tours throughout Hawaii, and All Resort Express in Utah and Colorado Mountain
Express for Colorado ski destinations. International destinations will also
have airport transportation available through suppliers including Olympus
Tours in Cancun and Mexico City, Majestic Tours in Nassau, Bahamas, De Palm
Tours in Aruba and Tropicana Tours in Grand Cayman.
“These options are all about enriching the travel experience for our
customers,” said Bryan Saltzburg, vice president of packaging and cruises
Travelocity. “These additions further meet customers’ needs by saving them
time and money, while allowing them to easily create a trip that suits their
ultimate needs.”
To create a TotalTrip with these travel extras, simply click the “Flight +
Hotel” option directly from the homepage or the vacations tab. Once customers
have chosen their flight and hotel options, they are then presented the
services and other activities available to them in that select destination.
Added flexibility gives customers the ability to choose the specific days they
want to ski during the trip and they can also purchase as many attractions
tickets as they would like in case in-town friends and/or relatives wish to
share in their experiences.
“We also couldn’t be more excited about the wonderful group of partners
who have teamed up with us to give consumers this added convenience to their
online travel shopping experience,” Saltzburg said. “And we look forward to
giving our mutual customers even more to choose from in the coming months.”
