SynXis Generates More Than $2 Billion in Revenue for Hotels in 2006 and Grows to 8,400 Properties on Its Systems

Record Sales and New Products and Services Fuel Enormous Growth for the Leading CRS Provider

SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dec. 14, 2006–SynXis, the Sabre Holdings (NYSE:TSG) business that provides reservation management, distribution and technology services for hotels around the world, announced today that in 2006 it has processed the highest number of transactions in its history and has generated more than $2 billion in revenue for SynXis hotel customers.

Throughout the year SynXis has launched many significant new products and services to drive more distribution for its customers. Highlights include:

— The powerful 5.0 version of the RedX(TM) Distribution Management System, which improved system usability based on direct customer feedback.

— New Revenue Management consulting programs.

— Channel Connect(SM), which provides XML integration from RedX directly to third party travel sites and to hoteliers’ custom-built booking engines.

— A global voice solution including a new telephone reservation center near Dallas, Texas, and foreign language coverage for calls in Europe and Asia.

— The
one-year anniversary of its full-service call center based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

In 2006 SynXis has seen a greater than 60-percent increase over 2005 in bookings made on hotel booking engines that it has built for its customers. This increase mirrors the industry trend of more consumers booking directly on hotel websites. The SynXis booking engine enables hoteliers to customize the booking experience for their guests with such features as language translations, currency conversions, multiple room and rate pictures and a powerful dynamic-packaging engine that generates incremental revenue for the hotel.

“SynXis made significant investments in our products, services and staff in 2006 and will continue this investment in 2007. Our focus has been to provide leading technology and solutions to help our customers better compete in the rapidly evolving world of electronic distribution,” commented Scott Alvis, president and general manager of SynXis. “We are thrilled with the benefits our new products and services have brought to our customers and the numbers speak for themselves.”

With its well-rounded products and services offerings, SynXis has won many new customers. Since the start of 2006, they have added more than 100 new customers representing over 500 properties around the world. The increase in properties has come through a combined effort of SynXis’ direct sales team and its network of value-added reseller partners around the world.

“The ability for us to win so many new customers at this stage in our company’s cycle speaks volumes of our people, our products and our combination of innovation and stability,” added Alvis. “2006 has been a tremendous year, and we are looking forward to building on that momentum going into 2007.”
