Rates and Inventory Directly in RedX(R)
SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 17, 2007–SynXis, the Sabre Holdings business that provides hotel reservation management, distribution and technology services globally, announced today that it has successfully completed a direct connection to Travelocity, a global leader in online travel, eliminating the need for properties using the RedX Distribution Management System to manage rates through a separate extranet. The Channel Connect interface to Travelocity also includes Travelocity Business(R) for corporate travelers, lastminute.com, a leader in European online travel and ZUJI, a leader in Asia-Pacific online travel. Channel Connect integrates RedX directly to third party travel sites such as Travelocity and enables hotels to better differentiate their products by providing information such as detailed stay policies and child pricing directly to retail points of sales.
