Sabre Aerodynamic Traveler Web Check-in and Aerodynamic Traveler Gate Reader Provide Key Airport Automation for Both Passengers and Airlines

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Feb 23, 2004 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — Sun Country Airlines and Sabre Airline Solutions announced today the successful implementation of Sabre Aerodynamic Traveler Web Check-in and Sabre Aerodynamic Traveler Gate Reader, part of the integrated Sabre Aerodynamic Traveler Passenger Processing suite of passenger processing tools. The services will be delivered via Sabre Airline Solutions’ eMergo web-enabled and dedicated network solutions, an applications service provider (ASP) offering.

Use of the Internet by airline customers for flight check-in increased by 300 percent in 2003, with 27 percent of business travelers and 23 percent of leisure travelers using the Internet for check-in, according to industry reports by Forrester and Giga research firms. Sun Country Airlines and Sabre Airline Solutions are meeting industry demands by providing passengers with more convenient check-in and boarding options.
