The Chilean airline keeps choosing the Sabre travel marketplace as a strategic channel to provide travel buyers with full information on schedules, fares and availability.

SANTIAGO, Oct. 9, 2013 – Global technology company Sabre has renewed its multi-year distribution agreement with Sky Airlines. The deal means that 370,000 travel agents in more than 130 countries that use Sabre will continue to access the airline’s seats and fare classes for flights to Chile, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia.

Sky Airlines’ flight services are also available for hundreds of businesses and corporations using Sabre BizSite and GetThere, online booking tools and industry-leading platforms to manage travel programs with negotiated rates, company compliance and preferred suppliers. “Sabre’s innovative technology and ability to help airlines market and sell products to millions of travelers worldwide will allow us to boost sales. Our aim is to provide travelers with additional booking channels and Sabre is one of the most important of those,” said Sky Airlines COO Holger Paulmann. “Our growing network across Chile, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia will mean Sabre-connected agents and corporations will have access to a broad range of travel product available via the Sabre marketplace.” Jay Jones, senior vice president for Sabre Travel Network in The Americas, said: “Sky Airlines is one of Latin America’s fastest growing airlines based in a country that is a leading hub for commercial aviation. By renewing our distribution agreement we keep providing Sabre-connected agencies, corporations and travelers with convenient flight options, and give Sky Airlines a global reach that will drive their business to the next level.” Sabre invests every year in technology to help airlines grow their business, and provide agencies and other travel buyers with an efficient and transparent platform to shop and book travel.
