Agents Achieve Average of 12 Percent Increased Revenue
SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 31, 2007–Hotel UpSell, Sabre Travel Network’s merchandising tool that provides increased value for hotels, travel agents and travelers, nearly tripled the number of hotel properties in its network during the first five months of 2007, reaching the milestone of 5,000 hotel properties in May.

Launched in February 2006, Hotel UpSell had 1,700 properties by the end of the year, and today, more than 22,000 Sabre agency locations have upsell capabilities for 5,000 properties. By the end of 2007, the number of hotel properties is expected to exceed 6,500.
Hotel chains currently using Hotel UpSell include Accor, Carlson, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Golden Tulip Hospitality, InterContinental Hotels Group, Leading Hotels of the World and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
