Sabre Travel Network President Sean Menke appointed as executive advisor for new federal infrastructure board

Sabre Corporation’s (NASDAQ: SABR) executive vice president and president for Travel Network, Sean Menke, has recently been appointed as executive member of the National Advisory Committee on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure (NACTTI). The panel was established following last year’s surface transportation bill. Menke and other inaugural members will provide insight and industry expertise on key travel and transportation decisions from the recently elected Trump Administration.

Anthony Foxx, U.S. secretary of transportation, recently announced the appointment of Menke along with twelve other members of the U.S. Travel Association. The representatives of the national, non-profit organization advocating for all stakeholders of the travel industry, will all join the NACTTI advisory board of 25 appointees that will assist the U.S. Department of Transportation in developing policy recommendations and strategies to improve travel infrastructure and mobility.

“As an active member and proud participant in the U.S. Travel Association, it is an incredible honor to serve on NACTTI, especially being tasked with advancing measures to enhance our country’s travel infrastructure announced as a priority by elected President of the United States, Donald Trump,” said Menke. “This advisory board will be a significant voice for the new administration to use for guidance in establishing priorities that will ultimately benefit the traveler, thus is a very meaningful place to serve.”

With this appointment, Sabre Corporation renews its commitment to support the National Advisory Committee on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure (NACTTI), as the organization looks forward to continually working with government leaders to keep the industry and travelers moving.
