Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ “Smart” Website Takes Top Honors

Company wins a total of 51 awards for outstanding website design and creativity

Southlake, Texas (Dec. 6, 2011)– Sabre Hospitality Solutions, the industry’s leading global hospitality technology company, was awarded “Best Hotel & Lodging Website” along with 21 additional awards for outstanding achievement in web development as part of this year’s Website Marketing Association’s WebAward competition. The team has been further recognized with 18 web awards from the W3 Awards sanctioned by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and 11 Adrian Awards from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International.

Sabre took top honors for their work on The Shores Resort and Spa (Daytona Beach, Florida) website which used an innovative development technique to create a “smart” website. Using “behavioral targeting” the Sabre team creates a personalized online experience based on the viewer’s primary interest. For example, typing a descriptive term into a search engine, like “spa” or “meetings,” generates a link that directs the viewer to a website designed specifically around that focus.
