SOUTHLAKE, Texas, August 5, 2008 – Sabre Holdings Corporation has named Sterling Miller general counsel and corporate secretary. Miller replaces David Schwarte, who will remain in Sabre’s legal department on a part-time basis as special counsel.
Since 2004, Miller, 45, has served as general counsel for Travelocity, a Sabre Holdings subsidiary. He has been part of the Sabre Holdings legal department since 1996. Prior to his work at Sabre, Miller was an attorney with American Airlines and, before that, with the St. Louis law firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman. Miller graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. In 2007, Miller was a finalist for the Dallas Business Journal’s General Counsel of the Year award, and that same year the Travelocity legal department was named one of the Ten Most Innovative Legal Departments by Inside Counsel magazine.

Schwarte was general counsel for Sabre Holdings since 2000. He began his career with the Sabre family of businesses in 1973, and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the organization.
