Current chief financial officer shifts to new role focusing on company’s global growth

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Aug. 7, 2009 – Sabre Holdings today announced the appointment of Mark Miller as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.

The company’s previous CFO, Jeffery Jackson, will serve in a new role, executive vice president of Corporate Business Development, focusing on the company’s global growth opportunities. Fred Pensotti, who served as vice president of Finance for Sabre Airline Solutions and Sabre Travel Network, will now become the controller for Sabre Holdings.

Miller has been with Sabre for 14 years, serving in various executive-level positions. He was the company’s senior vice president and controller for the past five years.

“Mark has served in a wide range of roles across various financial disciplines in the company. His deep knowledge of our business and the travel industry uniquely qualifies Mark to carry on the rich, best-in-class finance capabilities at our company,” said Sam Gilliland, chief executive officer of Sabre Holdings.

Jackson, who has served as the company’s CFO for 11 years, will now focus his efforts on Sabre’s global alliances and strategic growth opportunities. He will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors for Abacus International, Sabre’s global distribution system joint-venture partner in Asia.

“Jeff has been a tremendous leader for Sabre, developing and overseeing a very strong finance organization,” Gilliland said. “This new opportunity will allow us to leverage Jeff’s breadth of experience and knowledge in areas of the business where we want more focus.”
