Sabre Enhances Sabre Vacations Agent Tool with Spirit Vacations

SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–March 28, 2006–Sabre Travel
Network, the company that creates unlimited travel possibilities
through its one-stop-shop for agents and the most rewarding
marketplace for travel suppliers, today announced that Spirit
Vacations packaged vacation inventory is now available to U.S. agents
through Sabre Vacations, Sabre’s Web-based vacation package booking
engine.

Sabre Vacations offers travel agents around-the-clock access to 22
name-brand vacation companies who collectively offer access to over
20,000 hotel properties, more than 30 airlines, five car rental
companies and over 400 airports in 350 cities in 40 countries. It
enables agents to book great vacation packages for their customers,
and includes an easy-to-use graphical interface, hotel photographs
and descriptions, traveler “hot deals,” agent incentives, destination
information from Frommer’s, vacation company news and information and
online technical support.

“Sabre Vacations enables us to increase our exposure to travel
agents and offer valuable services, such as detailed property
descriptions with graphics and special promotions for their
travelers,” said Bryan Shilling, general manager of Spirit Vacations.
“Agents gain the opportunity to better serve their clients by offering
complete and affordable Spirit Vacations packages to popular
destinations throughout Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico and the United
States.”

“The addition of Spirit Vacations enhances agents’ ability to find
and book great vacation packages that satisfy their customers, thereby
strengthening customer relationships and at the same time improving
agency revenues,” said Chris Kroeger, senior vice president, Sabre
Travel Network, North America.” It also expands Spirit Vacation’s
opportunities to increase sales through the unmatched Sabre agency
network. This is another great example of how an efficient marketplace
provides value for suppliers, travel agents and consumers. For Spirit,
it increases exposure and promotional opportunities, for agents, it
provides better customer service and enhanced revenue, and for
travelers it provides an enhanced travel experience.”
