Sabre Businesses Recognized with World Travel Awards; Sabre System Named “World’s Best Global Distribution System” for 11th Consecutive Year and Travelocity Named “World’s Leading Travel Internet Site” for 7th Time

SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 5, 2005–For the 11th consecutive year, travel agents from around the world have chosen the Sabre global distribution system (GDS) as the “World’s Leading Computer Reservations System (CRS)/GDS,” a component of the World Travel Awards. Travelocity was also named the “World’s Leading Travel Internet Site” for the 7th consecutive year. Additionally, Sabre Travel Network was again named the “World’s Leading Travel Technology Provider” during the awards ceremony in Barbados.
