LONDON – Dec 11, 2018 – Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), the leading technology provider to the global travel industry, has appointed Richard Addey to lead its Travel Network business in the UK, Ireland and Benelux. The new appointment will help drive business growth for both Sabre and its customers in the regions.
Since 2015, Addey has been leading Sabre’s South Africa business, where he was instrumental in establishing a foothold for Sabre in the region, setting the company up for significant and sustainable success in the country.
In his new role, Addey will be responsible for increasing Sabre’s footprint in the UK, Ireland and Benelux, leading the regions’ sales strategies and overseeing all key accounts. He will also deliver keen expertise and insight to Sabre’s travel agency customers, working closely with them to help ensure strong and prolonged growth.

Prior to Sabre, Addey held leadership positions at education software company Smart, and global IT business, NEC. His experience spans three continents, having previously worked from South Africa, Tokyo and Europe.
