Meet Me in…Feature Launched on Travelocity Designed to Bring Family/Friends Together; Travel Planning from Two Separate Departure Cities is Now Easier Than Ever with New Tool and Limited-Time Promotion

SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 7, 2006–Travelocity(R)
announces the addition of a one-of-a-kind booking feature to its
popular Last Minute Packages portion of the site that will make it
easier than ever for family and friends to connect. The patent pending
Meet Me In…(SM)online tool allows consumers traveling from two
departure cities to meet in a common destination through convenient,
deeply-discounted travel packages.

Travelocity’s newest booking feature helps to eliminate the
scheduling and communication challenges associated with coordinating
complex travel itineraries from two separate origins. This technology
helps eliminate cumbersome coordination by allowing up to four people
from two different cities to select itineraries that maximize their
time together. To further celebrate the launch of this new tool,
Travelocity is offering its members who book before March 15 an
exclusive $75 discount on all Meet Me In… bookings.

“In addition to making group travel as affordable as possible,
Meet Me In…simplifies the entire travel planning process, regardless
of where travelers are coming from,” said Jeff Varhol, general manager
of Travelocity’s Last Minute Packages. “Launched as an industry first
on Site59 last October, we’re proud to extend this feature to
Travelocity, providing our customers with the most innovative leisure
travel planning product in the market.”

Additional details regarding Travelocity’s newest Meet Me
In…travel technology include:

    -- A new search option that gives customers the choice of either
        a traditional one departure city search or a search that
        simultaneously queries for round-trip flight, hotel, and
        rental car availability from two departure cities - complete
        with package pricing upfront;

    -- An algorithm that sorts through thousands of possible flight
        combinations to present the seven best itineraries, based on
        price, travel time, coordinated arrival and departure times,
        and most importantly, time together;

    --  A "time together" calculation (e.g....3 days, 7 hours, 42
        minutes) is shown for all seven itineraries;

    -- A flexible side-by-side flight comparison, that can be
        independently sorted based on the following priorities: price,
        airline, departure time, arrival time and travel time;

    -- A suggested price breakdown for each traveler, including taxes
        and fees, based on the origination cities.
