Luxury brand Regent Hotels & Resorts selects Sabre Hospitality Solutions for its expertise in marketing and distribution

SOUTHLAKE, Texas March 8, 2010 – Regent Hotels & Resorts, have selected Sabre Hospitality Solutions to help revitalize the hotels’ brand using Sabre’s proven marketing and distribution solutions.

Formosa International Hotels Corporation (FIHC), the largest and most profitable hotel company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, has seen the successful results delivered to their other hotel brands using Sabre Hospitality Solutions and after their acquisition of Regent Hotels & Resorts made the decision to leverage that experience.

Regent will switch its global distribution system (GDS) chain code, RE, to the industry-leading SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) in the second quarter of 2011. In addition to GDS distribution, Regent’s properties will gain the full benefit of Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ marketing across all channels including online travel agents (OTA), direct connects, the Guest Connect website booking engine, call centre services and mobile booking platforms.
