Lion Air Selects Sabre for End-to-End Airline Operations Platform

Landmark agreement signed committing Sabre to deliver an end-to-end platform of airline operations and crew solutions as Southeast Asia’s leading low-cost carrier pushes regional growth SOUTHLAKE, Texas, SINGAPORE and JAKARTA, Indonesia – April 14, 2016 – Lion Air, Southeast Asia’s leading low-cost carrier, has selected leading global technology provider Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR) to deliver an end-to-end airline operations and crew management platform that will optimise daily operations and reduce costs. Sabre AirCentre’s airline operations, crew and disruption management technologies and mobile capabilities are being deployed simultaneously across Indonesia’s largest private carrier and its entire group of subsidiary airlines – Batik Air, Wings Air, Malindo Air, and Thai Lion Air; supporting route network and fleet growth in the region.
