Radixx, a leading airline retailing software provider, has announced the successful go-live of their modern departure services suite of products, Radixx Go™, with FlySafair, a leading low-cost airline based in South Africa.

Radixx Go™ is an industry-leading, cloud-based departure services suite of products that provides airlines with innovative mobile and self-service features that have proven to increase ancillary revenues in the airport, enhance the passenger experience, and significantly reduce passenger handling costs at airlines across the globe. In addition, the Radixx Go™ suite is compatible with all airport common-use platforms.
FlySafair selected Radixx Go™, for the system’s ability to reduce operational costs and increase airport efficiency. The Radixx Go™ mobile and kiosk applications, roaming agent, and mobile bag drop solutions streamline Safair’s passenger processing and increase customer satisfaction. The state-of-the-art technology is designed to empower agents to better assist passengers during multiple points in their journey through a smartphone application. In the first month of operations, the airline reduced average boarding times from 23 min and 56 sec to 15 min and 58 sec. Effectively, the time taken to board 189 passengers was reduced by roughly one-third.
