SOUTHLAKE, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 16, 2005–Hainan Airlines, a leading carrier in mainland China, this month successfully launched state-of-the-art planning and scheduling technology from Sabre Airline Solutions.
The agreement included implementation of the four main systems within the Sabre AirFlite suite — Schedule Manager, Profit Manager, Fleet Manager and the SlotManager system — providing automation of the flight scheduling and route evaluation processes.
The AirFlite suite, which can help increase operating profits by up to 9 percent, combines core flight scheduling functions such as scheduling, profitability forecasting and analysis, fleet assignment, and slot management through a seamless integration with shared interfaces and database information. This level of integration improves system performance and accuracy and reduces development efforts, resulting in a flexible, stable and efficient solution that runs on multiple platforms.
The advanced technology will help Hainan Airlines reach its growth objectives and remain a key player in its region.
