The award recognized the advances made in recent months by GetThere to meet specific needs of the European business travel market. This includes the addition of bookable rail content and the ability to book travel on several no-frills carriers without leaving the system.
The awards are presented annually by leading UK business travel magazine Business Travel World. According to independent judges, who were drawn from the business travel sector: “GetThere has tackled complex situations head-on. We congratulate GetThere for continually developing and for working to ensure a real end-to-end solution for its customers.”
GetThere’s entry also included specific examples from customers demonstrating it was achieving high usage rates within their organizations, an average 10 percent reduction in the price for short haul flights, and an average 40 percent reduction in transaction costs.
