More seats on more flights manageable within the corporate travel policy
Business travellers using the GetThere online corporate travel reservation system can now book premium economy seats on British Airways and Virgin Atlantic flights, in a move to further broaden the range of fares bookable within the system.
GetThere announced recently that bookings on European ’no frills’ carriers Ryanair and easyJet were also available entirely within the reservation system.
Tod Lockard, GetThere’s director of sales and marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa said the addition of premium economy class booking reflects the trend for managing travel more economically, and gives more choice to business travellers using the system. “Business travellers are looking for cost-effective travel – and are opting for premium economy seats as an alternative to business class. We want to give travellers the greatest possible choice by enabling them to book these seats online, as part of the company’s managed travel programme.”
