Sabre secures IATA NDC Level 4 certification as an airline IT provider

Sabre is now certified as IATA NDC Capable Level 4 as an airline IT provider. Achieving Level 4 certification is an industry-recognized signal of commitment to NDC and evidence of maturing capabilities. The purpose of IATA’s NDC certification program is to differentiate capabilities among aggregators, airline IT providers, and airlines. Level 4 certification indicates the ability to support advanced Offer and Order management functionality. You can read more about the certification program on IATA’s NDC website.

Last year, Belavia-Belarusian Airlines was the first SabreSonic passenger service system (PSS) airline to achieve IATA NDC Level 3 certification by using Sabre’s NDC airline IT solution. The Sabre team is looking forward to continuing our collaboration with Belavia as they work toward attaining Level 4 certification during the first half of 2021.

“We continue to talk to many SabreSonic airlines about using Sabre’s airline IT capabilities to power their NDC offerings. Achieving Level 4 certification serves as another proof point of our progress as an airline IT provider,” commented Sabre NDC Product Director, Rolando Philps. “The team has put in a lot of hard work and we are excited to add another IATA badge to our list of accomplishments as we help customers distribute and access leading content.”
