Sabre Polska Give Together and Give Time Together actions were featured for the first time in the 2016 “Responsible business in Poland. Good practices” report issued by Responsible Business Forum. Give Time Together was recognized as an employees’ voluntary event and Give Together as a charity action.

The “Responsible business in Poland. Good practices” report is the most important periodical publication of Responsible Business Forum, issued since 2002. The report is a review of the activities carried out by companies who choose to report actions and events they organize in the field of CSR, and it summarizes the key issues related to responsible business in a given year. The Jubilee 15th edition of the report included descriptions of 880 practices from 180 companies, a record-breaking number that marks a 25% increase compared to last year (137). 461 initiatives were reported for the first time, including Give Together and Give Time Together by Sabre Polska. Mirella Panek-Owsiańska, President of the Forum, said that the large increase in the number of companies featured in the report is a clear sign of how the concept of CSR is growing and shows that more and more companies want to look at their business in terms of value and not just of financial income.

This year’s “Responsible business in Poland. Good practices” report also boasts a first-time link with the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals established by the UN in 2015. Besides the traditional ISO 26000 standard classification, practices in the report have also been associated with SDG targets.

The report was announced on March 30th in Warsaw during a gala event.
