Sabre Give Together – summary of 2018 edition

Give Together program is our biggest charity event with a long history. Once a year we organize fundraising actions for non-governmental organizations and local communities. Just like a year ago, the commitment was exceptionally high – up to 80% of the Sabre employees take part in them. Our recipe for success is simple – beneficiaries are selected by employees themselves. We want to help and support local communities and organizations we know. In November 2018, 26 initiatives took place, among others: online auctions, virtual tournaments, food fairs, lipdub & dance challenge, book fair, and workshops for children. In total, we have collected 69,000 PLN, which translates into an average of PLN 50 per employee. We are now transferring funds to our 26 beneficiaries.   Give Together is Sabre’s largest philanthropic campaign and has raised more than $19 million since 2000. Each year, employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and resources in their local communities. During the global campaign, employee event coordinators organize hundreds of group events and independent volunteer activities through which co-workers, employees and community partners can volunteer for charities and non-profit organizations.
