We’re pleased to announce that Sabre along with the GBTA Research Foundation will be unveiling a new comprehensive look at the role of the travel manager, where it is today and, more importantly, where it is headed in the future. This research is a continuation of a similar study conducted in 2014 that explored the overall value of the travel manager along with how their role impacts their organization both financially as well as in other ways.
The most recent study, Travel Manager 2020 – Foundational Shifts in the Role of the Travel Manager, focuses primarily on the future of the role. Most specifically, how their role will evolve over the next three to five years and what steps are needed to be successful especially as key factors such as technology, mobility and data continue to shape the travel industry.
