Sabre has been has been named to the 2014 InformationWeek Elite 100 for creating Sabre Red Mobile Workspace, a solution that lets travel agents connect to the Sabre travel marketplace to shop, book and manage travel on the go. The app allows the sharing and automatic synchronization of reservation information, customer profiles, user preferences and shortcuts across devices so that travel agents can more efficiently serve their customers. One of its best capabilities is the seamless handling of data, even during intermittent connectivity, such as when an agent moves from a Wi-Fi hotspot to a 4G data network or even travels through a tunnel while commuting. At a gala awards ceremony attended by some of the technology industry’s chief thought leaders, InformationWeek honored leading digital businesses in the U.S. and revealed its 2014 InformationWeek Elite 100. Sabre ranked No. 96.
