On May 27, Sabre France, in conjunction with French media Travel on Move (TOM) will host a thought-provoking evening at NUMA – #TravelTechParis. The event will include several influencers from both the travel and technology industry to share industry insights and engage in a networking opportunity.
“The #TravelTechParis venue, NUMA, is significant as it was the first incubator and co-working space in France aimed at mentoring startups in different fields. We want to create a forum where highly skilled developers and driven entrepreneurs can network with large companies from the travel industry such as Sabre, Etihad and Airbus. We’re convinced that the future of travel is personalising the traveller experience and building mobile travel apps will contribute to this emerging trend”, said Ludovic Philippo, country director, Sabre France.
The afterwork session will start with a panel, facilitated by editor-in-chief for TOM, Guillaume Poulain. Speakers will discuss the latest ideas in technology that are currently shaping the travel industry. Expert panelists will include:
Joakim Everstin, Head of Innovation, Sabre EMEA, will also be onsite to demonstrate a Sabre mobile app prototype (Sabre Ancillary Services App). This app shows the power of personalisation through upsell offerings such as ancillary upgrades to significantly improve their travel experience. Another example demonstrates how airlines, hotels and other providers can generate more revenue streams with just one mobile click from the traveller.
The demo will be broadcast live via the Periscope mobile app around 1PM CDT.
