Last week Sabre CEO and President Tom Klein addressed a group of students at the Villanova University School of Business (VSB) Center for Business Analytics (CBA), in Philadelphia, Pa., where he focused on two “change everything” trends:  Big Data and mobile. Watch the presentation.

During his commentary, Tom said, “At Sabre, we focus on helping our customers get and see real, measurable value from technology.  I have strong conviction that the greatest opportunity Sabre has to drive more value for our customers and our businesses lies in our ability to harness Big Data and use data and business intelligence as a centerpiece of our customer relationships.  We have to constantly ask, how can we give our customers deeper insights and better recommendations for action?”

The Villanova CBA leads the development of analytical capabilities among business school undergraduate and graduate students.  It is organized around three pillars: curriculum, research and practice. As part of the practice pillar, CBA hosts analytics thought leaders and practitioners who share their insights with students, faculty and professionals.

Tom is a 1984 graduate of Villanova and sits on the Dean’s board of the Villanova School of Business.
