October 24, 2014, Paris, France – La Compagnie has signed a multi-year technology agreement with global technology company Sabre, to market and sell its fares through the Sabre global distribution system.
The agreement means that more than 400,000 Sabre travel agents worldwide will have access to efficiently shop and book all of La Compagnie’s fares, schedules and inventory.
“La Compagnie started flying from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to New York Newark (EWR) on July 21st, offering corporate and high-end leisure travelers a truly unique 100% business-class service with 19 rows and 74 seats. From the beginning, we knew that distribution via Sabre was a critical component of our strategy given their global presence and strength in the US market,” says Jean Charles Périno, EVP Commercial & Marketing, at La Compagnie.
Harald Eisenaecher, Senior Vice President for Sabre EMEA: “La Compagnie is challenging the market and bringing luxury travel back with their new premium service targeting the discerning business and luxury traveller. Sabre is pleased to partner with them and we look forward to supporting the airline’s growth by putting them directly in touch with high-yield corporate travellers who know what they want. It’s great news for travel agents who can now book this exclusive carrier in our GDS.”
