The European Aviation Safety Agency joins the United States’ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in allowing personal electronic devices to be used during flight.
Late last month the FAA gave the green light for U.S. airlines to allow passengers to use tablets, smartphones, eReaders and MP3 players during all phases of flight.
The EASA will issue its guidance by late November, according to an aviation trade publication. Appears this is becoming a global phenomenon.
