Riyadh Air will be Saudi Arabia’s second ‘flag carrier’ when it commences operations later this year. At the heart of Riyadh Air’s offer optimization tech is SabreMosaic™ Continuous Revenue Optimizer which will enable Riyadh Air to implement classless revenue management and true continuous pricing – marking the first airline to operate without Reservation Booking Designators and traditional fare filing in their direct channel.
Riyadh Air’s goal is to become a true modern retailer, selling diverse offers inclusive of third-party content – even standalone products without air travel. Sabre enables this capability through SabreMosaic™ Bundle IQ, which empowers the airline to generate product bundles that are most relevant to the customer segment, with bundle price optimization.
Along with these launch partner products, Riyadh Air will implement complementary offer optimization solutions in the form of SabreMosaic Air Price IQ™, SabreMosaic Ancillary IQ™, and SabreMosaic Upgrade IQ™. Built with best-in-class machine learning and generative AI technology on the Google Cloud Platform, these solutions will help Riyadh Air optimize revenue across all elements of the offer.
As the wider industry embarks on the transformation journey towards retailing with offers and orders, Riyadh Air will need to operate in a hybrid world for a number of years, presenting rich content offers in the direct channel and traditional content through indirect and partner channels. Recognizing this, Sabre will enable Riyadh Air’s offer translator, harmonizing availability and price calculation for Riyadh Air’s offers across channels.
