Last Friday the AHLA hosted a conference call with Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) who shared his thoughts on making meaningful immigration reform a reality and laid out how hotel industry advocates can help encourage their representatives to make this a priority when they return from break in September.

Schumer shared his thoughts on how the lodging industry is handling its lobbying efforts, the successes it’s had and also provided next steps to follow in order to convince Congress immigration reform should be passed this year.
