Bill is the executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Sabre. In this role, Bill leads the company’s global human resources function, including talent acquisition and development, organizational strategy and culture.

Before Sabre, Bill was Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for Coventry Health Care, which was a $14B publically traded company with 14,000 employees. A Fortune World’s Most Admired Healthcare Company, Coventry Health Care was a diversified managed care company and leader in risk and fee based products in the commercial and government programs space. He was a key member of the executive team in executing the sale of the business to Aetna.

Bill was a 20-year veteran of the General Electric Company and Senior Executive. He developed a strong reputation for delivering in high growth and diverse industries around the globe. As a member of GE’s HR Executive Council, he held large scope and global HR leadership roles. Bill also led the HR function for the $10B Energy Services business. In addition to serving as HR Leader for GE’s Healthcare business in Asia, Bill has significant international business experience through the global scope of his roles. He played a key role in the explosive commercial growth of the region in addition to accelerating the supply chain capability in India and China.

Bill serves on the Boards of American Public Education Inc., Treehouse Inc. and MUST Ministries. He also serves on the Wake Forest University Men’s Basketball Executive Committee.

In his free time, Bill enjoys playing basketball and tennis and is a big collegiate sports fan.

Bill is a graduate of GE’s prestigious Human Resources Leadership Program and holds a MA in Human Resources from Bowie State University and a BA in Communications from Wake Forest University.
