Signature Programs
For more than 10 years, we have actively engaged in philanthropic and outreach initiatives, contributing more than US$15 million and 150,000 volunteer hours to charitable organizations in 46 countries around the globe.
In 2009, we launched The Good Network, an online employee resource for community involvement programs, to help employees track and measure their outreach efforts.

Each year, employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and resources in their local communities. During the global week campaign, employee event coordinators organize hundreds of group events and independent volunteer activities through which coworkers, employees and community partners can volunteer for charities and non-profit organizations in their areas. Volunteer events have also been a successful way for employees to build relationships with their colleagues across our businesses.

The global employee giving week is our largest annual philanthropic undertaking, raising more than US$15 million since the program's inception. In addition to volunteering their time, employees are empowered to organize special events to help raise needed funds for their local charities. Events range in activity including obstacle courses, craft sales, golf tournaments, talent shows and silent auctions.

Travelocity’s Travel for Good® program encourages sustainability through two cornerstones: green travel and voluntourism.
Green Travel
Travelocity is the only major online travel company that flags eco-friendly hotels site-wide, making it easy and affordable to go green. And with more than 2,300 properties in the Green Hotel Directory, it provides access to more eco-friendly hotels than any of its competitors. We also offer hybrid cars and carbon offsets.
Voluntourism
Travel for Good has teamed up with some of the top voluntourism organizations in the country to help travelers give back during their trips. Can't afford a volunteer vacation? Each quarter, we award three US$5,000 voluntourism grants — two to deserving consumers and one to a dedicated employee.
