Mark Miller
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mark Miller brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting expertise to his role as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sabre Holdings®. Prior to being named CFO in July 2009, Mark served for five years as senior vice president and corporate controller of Sabre Holdings, responsible for building and managing a 400+ person organization that covers all aspects of financial planning and analysis, accounting, and tax.
Mark joined Sabre Holdings in 1995 from his previous position as CFO of GetThere®, L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sabre Holdings. Before joining GetThere, he served as vice president, financial planning and analysis for the Sabre technology finance operation. In this position, Mark worked with the CIO, CTO and general manager of global infrastructure to execute the finance functions of the 5,000-employee unit.
Mark previously served as vice president of finance for our US Airways technology outsourcing contract, where he worked with senior executives at both Sabre and US Airways to manage the finances of the US$200 million-per-year contract. Mark’s career at Sabre also includes posts as director of treasury, principal of corporate finance and senior financial analyst.
Prior to joining Sabre, Mark served as assistant regional controller for the Hertz Corp. Additionally, he has held positions at Ernst and Young and LTV Corp.
Mark holds an MBA in finance from Rice University and is a certified public accountant. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas Tech University.
