President Sabre Travel Network


As president, Greg Webb is responsible for the overall performance of Sabre Travel Network®, the world’s leading provider of high-performance travel solutions.

Webb joined Sabre in 1995 and has experience with all aspects of the Sabre Travel Network business. This experience includes leading the marketing organization as well as managing the company’s supplier relationships, the distribution business in Asia and the recently announced Sabre Hospitality Solutions® business.

As the former chief marketing officer for both Sabre Travel Network and Sabre Airline Solutions®, Webb was responsible for marketing planning, marketing and customer communications, merchandising solutions, advertising, brand strategy, portfolio management, and business planning. He also managed all of the supplier relationships for hotel, car rental, cruise lines and tour providers, as well as the Nexion, SynXis, E-site Marketing and TRAMS businesses.

Previously, he was senior vice president of global product marketing for Sabre Holdings. In this role he managed the product and technology portfolio across all the Sabre Holdings business units, with responsibility for the origination, design and delivery of the company’s product solutions. He led the launch of new products and enhancements of existing solutions to address the dynamic and evolving needs of the marketplace.

He also held several senior leadership positions at Sabre Holdings in product development, outsourcing sales and account management. Early in his career, Webb served as director of project consulting and risk assessment for American Airlines and Sabre.

Prior to joining the company, Webb was vice president and chief information officer for BellSouth Telecommunications, where his responsibilities included technology direction definition, next-generation system development, portfolio management, development prioritization and partnership negotiation. Webb has also served as a senior consultant at Andersen Consulting.

Webb earned a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Louisiana Tech University and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Southern Methodist University. He serves on the board of directors for Abacus, Asia’s leading GDS, which is 35-percent owned by Sabre Holdings and 65-percent owned by 13 Asian carriers.
